The Affiliate Journey

It’s feel like forever (or at least a few months) since I’ve posted anything new here.

I’ve gone through quite a few changes in my business and am coming back around to getting this on track.

The beginning of this year I started some partnerships directly with merchants (not via affiliate networks). I was very upbeat and optimistic about the potential these relationships were going to bring me, how ever I soon realized that when working with partnerships things can get a lot more difficult then when we’re just managing our own stuff & outsourced employees.

This week I decided it’s time for me to get things back on track with my affiliate business.

While I literally have 3-5 other solid ideas I want to implement with my business none of them make sense until I get my revenue and site foundation back to a place that is consistent.

I did take a revenue hit while I was focussing on other projects which is what finally clued me back into the fact that I needed to focus my time & energy on what works for me.

So here I am starting a new journey (a 6 month one) to double revenues and secure foot holds in my main markets.

I’m going to be committing to posting here a lot more often (at least 3 times a week) to track my progress and keep my on topic.

I’m currently setting up an accountability partner  (coach) I can work with to help me stay focussed. This is something I haven’t done in the past so I’m really looking forward to the potential results this can yield.
