The JCCs come together for an inspiring week of learning

The first-ever in-person JCC User Conference was hosted over three days at the Mandel JCC of Cleveland with a turnout no one expected!

In partnership with Íæż½ã½ã, Mandel JCC of Cleveland hosted the event, which brought together over 60 representatives from Jewish Community Centers throughout the country. All things Íæż½ã½ã and Salesforce were discussed during the three-day conference, which included technical sessions, activities, and networking opportunities. It was a space full of big ideas, extraordinary skills, and incredible knowledge, with attendees ranging from Salesforce admins to CFOs.

Three days of fun, learning, and stimulating conversation

As part of the three-day program, attendees got a peek at Íæż½ã½ã's future roadmap, learned about billing 2.0, received tips and tricks on flows, and more. In addition to seeing how Íæż½ã½ã is seamlessly integrated into the JCC of Mandel's day-to-day operation, attendees were able to discuss how they each use the system differently, gathering insight from each other's practices during discussions, breakout rooms, bowling, bocce, and baseball!

On Day 1, attendees were given a high-level overview of the Íæż½ã½ã roadmap, as well as a tour of the JCC of Mandel's facilities and demonstrations of how online memberships were set up and configured. Jill Davidson and Jennifer Wenk shared their success stories, detailing of lead and case management in their operations and shared learnings on how to best utilize this powerful Salesforce functionality to streamline their processes.

The Íæż½ã½ã user conference was a fantastic experience. It gave JCC staff an opportunity to network and connect so that we can collaborate on best practices and solve problems together in the future.

Day 2 continued with sessions outlining the future of billing and camp registrations, with a guide on best practices for self-service, experience cloud, data models, and reporting. It was during an interactive session when the Íæż½ã½ã team introduced a new Slack channel to the organizations, and launched the opportunity to create a wishlist for Íæż½ã½ã’s future functionality.

The final day focused on the fan-favorite functionality of flows. Everything from tips, tricks, screen flows, and future packaged flows, was divulged in the afternoon after a dashboard contest to spark some inspiration - and competition with sweet prizes at stake!

A time of experiences, and hearing from one another

Whether in the conference room, on the bocce ball court, or bowling lanes...  long-term partners of Íæż½ã½ã, or newly live with the system, everyone was excited to share their experiences, success stories, and laughs over the event.

A definite attendee highlight was the Interactive Wish List session, where individuals would cast their vote on what they wanted to see for the future of Íæż½ã½ã! Ideas were pooled from various categories, ranging from finance to programs, opening the door to JCCs, with an opportunity to make an impact, have a voice and contribute to the betterment of the product and our partnerships.

  • Salesforce’s Deb Brown announced the latest news on Salesforce NPC and non-profit cloud updates.
  • Hosted tours of the facilities helped demonstrate how various staff members and departments utilize Íæż½ã½ã and manage their operations - engaging conversations and definite ideas to take back home and implement.

The biggest highlight of all...

The biggest highlight of all, the JCCs were able to be together in person. To speak their own voices and listen and learn from each, build networks and strengthen connections that will undoubtedly become vital sources in their future growth.

We were so thrilled to see the JCCs reconnecting and eager to participate in curating a strong partnership with us at Íæż½ã½ã and we cannot wait for more in-person events with our JCCs and YMCAs in the future - we’re already planning for next year’s JCC User Conference in Arizona with the Valley of the Sun JCC in February 2024 and we cannot wait to see everyone again.
